ProFusion 2011 – Exceeding Expectations!
Frankly, we had no idea that it would be this much bigger and better than the inaugural 2010 show. The crowds were larger (more than twice as many as 2010) and the exhibits? The interest and interaction between vendors and attendees was more than we could have hoped for.

  • Over 4000 attendees – doubling last year’s attendance record.
  • Over 1,200 seminars attendees.
  • Over 80 World Class Vendors – a 60% increase over last year
  • New product launches! Including JVC’s 4K Camcorder
  • Sony showcases their F3 and FS-100 breakthrough camcorders
  • A large contingent of World Class Presenters - many in Canada for the first time
  • Special Guests: CSC, Female Eye, Sheridan College, Screen Institute of Research & Technology, Docs Canada plus other Special Interest Groups

PROFUSION 2010 HIGHLGHTS:

  • Over 2,500 attendees through the doors.
  • 27 different seminars and workshops – with over 800 seminar attendees
  • World-renowned, London-based DP and Director, Philip Bloom earned more fans by presenting two in-depth workshops (including Q&A), a Keynote address and a full-day intermediate workshop.
  • Rodney Charters, DOP of “24”, presented his 24 and More seminar (co-sponsored by Vistek and Canon Canada) to such wild acclaim, it had to be moved to a bigger room. He also gave free talks on both days of the event at the ProFusion Demonstration Theatre.
