26-year Steadicam veteran Peter Abraham will lead a discussion that explores the use of the moving camera in feature film, episodic and live television venues. Screened clips include work from The Sopranos, Sex and The City, MTV Cribs, The 1996 Olympics, various commercials and other projects. Steadicam operational and aesthetic choices will be explored. This discussion will last 90 minutes.

ABOUT PETER ABRAHAM

A camera operator for 33 years and Steadicam operator for 26 years, Abraham's credits include Malcolm X, Crooklyn, the Sopranos, Sex and the City,  Good Morning America, MTV Cribs, Satuday Night Live,  ABC Sports,  Martha Stewart, the 1996 Olympics Ceremonies,  the 1995 and 2000 Super Bowls. As a Master Steadicam Workshops Instructor, he has taught over 60 workshops training over 1,300 students.  He’s been nominated for 4 Emmy Awards and has received the Cine Golden Eagle.
