Bill Frakes takes us on a motivational walk through 35 years of making photographs that have appeared in virtually every important general interest publication in the world, and short films
and documentaries that have been watched by tens of millions on broadcast television and online. In short, Frakes will be discussing the metamorphis that has taken him from stills, to multimedia and film, and constantly back again to his roots.

This two-hour presentation will focus on career highlights that have led to winning the World Press Gold Medal, sharing the Pulitzer Prize, more than 30 wins in the Best of Photojournalism and Pictures of the Year International competitions, as well as on some personal projects that include a constant diverse look at the world around him. One majore highlight to be covered are the photographs he has been taking for Sports Illustrated since 1983. This lecture will include Q & A with regard to equipment, workflow, technique and how to get your pictures in front of the sport worlds most important editors.
